Beach Hire is a new business venture for local man Ross Nicholson. After 30 years in the building trade, with the last 5 spent in Waihi, Ross decided on a change of direction. He figured that Waihi Beach needed a place to hire DIY and light commercial tools for small to medium projects. With this business idea in mind he developed Beach Hire.

Following is a list of some of the hire equipment that he stocks at the moment;

• Post hole borers and various augers
• Wheel barrows, trowels, concrete cutter, block splitter, a compactor and bull floats.
• Chainsaws, log splitter, a weed eater and lawn mowers.
• Gas heaters and dehumidifiers.
• Pumps, hoses and valves.

Ross also has the tools and skills to sharpen your chainsaw and perform small motor repairs.
